WHEN WE CANNOT SEE
My heart is heavy this morning for those in pain,
Their unimaginable loss is beyond what I can sustain.
All hope must seem lost in their darkened day,
From where I sit, all I can do is pray.
Oh, Lord, show these dear souls that they are not alone,
Smile down upon them from your Heavenly throne.
In the rubble around them let them see Your love,
In the helping hands of man and from You above.
Through the storms of life we often question our end,
But it’s often in the end where our lives begin.
Lord show us not why it had to be,
Only give us Your eyes that our hearts may see.
Mike Coe
Life so fragile,
loss so sudden, heart so broken... In the wake of such a loss, we are haunted
by things we don’t, and may never understand. Yet the solace we seek may not
come from answers. So we look for comfort in the belief of love's everlasting
connection. May that love lift you and hold you close, and give you peace.
